FILM company Warner Brothers has made a major announcement regarding a beloved 90s comedy.
On Sunday, the entertainment corporation teased a huge announcement on their TikTok that featured music from the 1998 film Practical Magic.
The movie follows two sisters Sally (Sandra Bullock) and Gillian (Nicole Kidman) who immerse themselves in their family‘s line of magic to bring back Gillian’s boyfriend, Jimmy (Goran Visnjic).
In the clip, three candles appeared with the words “Midnight on TikTok.”
Later on, the official Warner Bros TikTok account began sharing iconic moments from the hit film.
On Monday, fans went wild when the film company announced a sequel to Practical Magic was officially in the works.
They also revealed that both Sandra and Nicole were in talks to reprise their roles.
However, some people weren’t too thrilled about the reboot.
‘DON’T DO THIS’
On X, formerly Twitter, fans shared their honest opinions on the movie.
“I love this idea but damn is there no creativity left in Hollywood?” one fan tweeted. “Reboots and musicals is that the best you can do?”
A second stater, “Do it with the original cast, or don’t do this.”
“Please do not replace the originals with Jenny Ortega and Sydney Sweeney. They are in everything already and I love this movie,” said another.
A fourth pointed out, “Honestly we didn’t ask for this.”
A fifth fan said, “Wow another sequel. So original. We live in the crappiest time for entertainment.”
“Another classic to ruin,” someone else claimed.
