BIG Little Lies star Reese Witherspoon has revealed her real name to co-star Nicole Kidman.
In a tell-all interview, Reese, 48, and Nicole, 56, shared throwback memories from their time on the hit HBO drama.
During the Vanity Fair interview, the Cruel Intentions star discussed working with actress LaurenDern, 57, who played Renata Klein on the program.
“My other favorite thing is that I called Dern when we were working on Big Little Lies.”
“I hate how you called her Dern though,” Nicole, 56, said.
“Why?” Reese replied.
“Because it sounds weird,” Nicole said.
“I’m going to tell you why,” Reese explained.
“Cause my name’s Laura. And her name’s Laura. And it’s confusing to me.”
“My real name is Laura Jeanne,” she closed with.
“That’s right!” Nicole realized.
“So I get confused. And I call her Dern.”
“Oh!” Nicole gushed.
“Because we both can’t be Laura.”
“She doesn’t call you Laura though,” Nicole mentioned.
Reese shook her head and jokingly went back to their discussion about the show.

Big Little Lies follows Madeline Mackenzie (Reese), Celeste Wright (Nicole), Bonnie Carlson (Zoe Kravitz), Jane Chapman (Shailene Woodley), and Mary Louise Wright (Meryl Streep) as they become embroiled in a murder.
Based on the novel by Liane Moriarty, the miniseries event premiered on HBO in 2017.
The HBO drama followed five women in Monterey, California, who become swept up in a murder investigation after a school fundraiser.
Season one ended on a cliffhanger as Celeste’s husband Perry (Alexander Skarsgård) is discovered as the man who raped Jane.
Bonnie then pushed Perry down the stairs and killed him in the process.
After the ensemble cast witnesses what Bonnie did, they are bound to keep Perry’s true death a secret.
Perry’s mother Mary Louise (Meryl) arrives in the second season to investigate his death.
Nicole and Reese were also executive producers on the Emmy-winning show.
THE COVER SHOOT
In January, the 56-year-old star recently showed off her incredible figure for the steamy cover of Vogue Australia.
She donned a black lace gown while a reptile wrapped itself around her neck.
Nicole had one hand wrapped around the snake and snarled at the camera.
The cover model wore a black latex crop top and a tight-fitting nude skirt.
SEASON 3 IN THE WORKS?
At the time, the Eyes Wide Shut actress confirmed a third season of Big Little Lies is in the works.
Nicole admitted she and Reese are “very close” and often discuss doing another season.
“We live in the same city five minutes from each other, and we spend enormous amounts of our off-work time together,” Nicole admitted.
“We’re always like, ‘We could do this, and we could do that!’ And now, the train has left the station.”
